I love the fact that the day before Warped Tour I lose my favorite hat, with really no hopes of finding it. It makes my day.
Using only song names from ONE ARTIST, cleverly answer these questions. Pass it on to people you like, and include me. You can't use the band/artist I used. Try not to repeat a song title. It's a lot harder than you think! If you copy, cut, ampersand paste it as I did, repost as "my life according to (band name)"

I just realized how addicting Mafia Wars on facebook really is. I'm not even that good, but the competitive gamer (not really a good game but oh well), won't let me stop playing.
So last night was so much fun. It started with me and my friend driving, which resulted in two trips back to my house for forgotten things like directions and the ipass. We got free slurpees, which was awesome! Then we were on our way. Riding down the highway, top down, rocking out.
When we got there we went peepee in Target, where we parkedXD, got energy drinks, and made our way to the Arena, and hung by the Verizon bus in hopes of picking up soundcheck (Spoiler: we didn't get any). We got free candy and free apple fries, then got icecream and tried to get soundcheck passes. We tried to win HS M&G by doing the Honor Roll, but were unsuccessful.
We saw the inside of the bus they recorded on, which was pretty cool ngl. Then we walked around and came across the Meet and Greet area, well the area about 100 ft away from it. We saw Big Rob, Garbo, Jack, and Ryan, no JT though. We talked to a security guard and got pictures with one of their violin players. Then we waited for the doors to open, went inside, went pee pee again, got foods, and sat our butts down. We watched Honor Society, Wonder Girls, and then Jordin Sparks all play before Jonas came on, but the concert was amazing.
Oh and also, it took us more than an hour to get out of the Target parking lot. Then we almost got lost multiple times, but made it home safe.

I'm seeing Jason Mraz this Saturday.
I'm rather excited. It's like the kick-off of my amazing summer concert marathon.
Haha, that's all.

That was the shortest four days of my life. The whole retreat was fun, I kinda wish I didn't have to leave.
But I'm home again, so no need to fear!
But I'm home again, so no need to fear!
So this will probably be the last time I have internet access until Friday night. I get to go on a school retreat for the next four days, that every senior must attend at some point, mine is just coming my junior year.
No technology, no games, books, iPods, cellphones, just us, and of course god.

I got my ACT scores today.
They aren't bad, I would have expected to do a little better, but this is good, and it's finally over, thank god.
Not that it really matters since most of the colleges I want to go to are open admission art schools.

So I'm officially on spring break.
Gotta love them Catholic schools, but the later spring break does mean warmer weather, even if it also means a lot of my friends already had their spring breaks.
And I've just realized today that I've lost 23 pounds since New Year's.
I'm feeling friggen proud.

So I just got my tickets for my jonas Brothers concert, July 11, and as I was posting this I just realized that that is the day 7/11 gives out free slushies.
This will be a good day for me...

Can anyone tell me where exactly it snows in April except for Antarctica?
I really hate Chicago as of right now.
I really hate Chicago as of right now.
So I'm avoiding working on my sketchbook for art.
We have to do a master study, this week is a contour line drawing, next week is shading, and the week after that is color.
All this to lead up to us going to the Art Institute for our field trip with AP European History so we can do a complete master study, just copying a masterpiece.
This is so fun I'm spinning with joy...

So I just took the ACT.
My brain feels like it was raped, beaten to a bloody pulp, and left face down in an icy river to just die a slow and painful death.
It was not fun.

Today is a good day.
It started off a little off when I side-swiped my brother's car, but there wasn't any real damage, just a couple of scratches, and when I forgot my portfolio to work on in art class, plus my lunch, but after deciding my tummy hurt in second period I called my dad and sent my butt home, because that man doesn't care if I go home for a splinter, where I cleaned up the scratches on my brother's car, and mine, before he left for work and before anyone realized what I did, hid from my brother so he wouldn't interrogate me on why I'm home, then after he left, which is now, I have the whole house to myself, no one to bug me, and no consequences after my off morning.

I need a job. Badly. I'm supposed to be paying insurance on my car, paying for gas, and saving for a school trip over next summer, but so far since May no luck. There have been some close shots, my dad almost got me a job at Panera Bread, but for some magical reason that didn't work out, and I've gone on countless interviews, but nothing.
I gotta say I'm so tired of looking for a job, I just wanna let one come to me, and if I didn't know better I would do just that.

I went to my school's football game last night, which is an odd thing for me since I hate sports with a burning firey passion, but my friend wanted to go and since I have officially become the ride giver I decided to stay after for the game, why not.
It was fun, but we had about three hours to kill after school ended so we stalked my friend up to the McDonalds she works at, which was about 30 min away, but worth it to bug her at work, and ate there before getting all our school spirit up in the air and being all football fanish.
The game actually bored me to tears, baseball I can watch, football no, even though we didn't really watch the game, it dragged on like it would never end.
On the way home we blasted some Enrique, and some Now 16 to bring back our 8th grade memories, and since I'm lame and fall asleep at like 10, I was nearly driving the car off a bridge or into a ditch the whole way home.

Sunday. I left at 3 to pick up my friend, then it was on the road to the Tweeter Center, which was fun in itself, singing, top down, blasting JB.
We got there at 3:30, go figure Dad, leave at 3 to get there at 4:30? Mmmkay.
So when we got there we had to wait in some parking lot on the side of the road until they opened the gates. We ate snacks, and had Jones Soda.
We rushed into the parking lot, almost crashing my car in the process, and ran to the Chevy tent, good thing we did because the line was out of sight soon after we got in it. We got to the front, met some people, they were nice, and some dad gave us $10 for us to let him turn in his daughter's poster in with ours because the line was cut off and no one else could enter, we took it obviously.
After turning in our posters we got our merch. I got a baseball shirt that is black, white, and red, very cute. Then we went to sign the bus, leaving our mark, ya know? Then we went to put our posters in my car, and remembered to lock it this time. then we found the two other girls we were supposed to be with after we called each other like ten times, and went in the venue, almost getting knocked over a couple of times. I bought a water, and we sat down, with like 2 hours until the Veronicas came on, so we talked to people sitting by us, they were nice.
Before the show they had a board that read out texts people could send to it, and many of them involved screaming if you love the Jonas Brothers, so we figured, we should send a text saying scream if you hate the Jonas Brothers. And the girls in front of us were being all snotty and turned around saying "OMG YOU HATE THE JONAS BROTHERS" So we're all "o.0?????""No, we were kidding," and she obviously didn't find it funny.
The concert was a lot of fun, didn't expect to go to a pop music concert and be bored, there was fire, and lights, and screaming, and music, and dancing, and cool effects. It was fun.
On the drive home though, we turned on Kiss Fm, wanting to escape the Jonas music, and guess what the dumbass guy decides to play?
He was all "This is for all you girl coming out of the JB concert, I'm getting texts here saying it was awesome." And then he continued to play three JB songs, making me want to throw my radio out the window. I was hella tired in school today, but it was all so worth it, I had a blast ending the summer the right way with my girls.

So I've never posted an actual blog before, and I decided no time like the present.
My name is Nicole, my friends call me Nimo (like Nemo, but with an i), and I live in the suburbs of Chicago.
I am the most blonde blonde that ever lived, (even though I want to be brunette).
One day I plan on becoming a producer and producing television.
I'm an art geek who loves to wear my glasses.
I'm not catholic much to my fathers despise, I'm really more agnostic, only because I don't believe that Jesus ever existed. Its a great story, maybe inspired by whatever god is out there, which I believe in, but not real.
I am very much a pacifist; I find war to be brutal to whatever country it takes place in, and just a way of killing people and bringing money into the nation.I love my "Make Love, Not War" t-shirt.
Don't question my taste in music; it’s all over the place.
